About The Author
The Atomic Kid is George
Parker's first book, but not his last. English-born,
Parker uses visual art, music, film, and humor to
express his ideas. He is an award-winning designer
and director of animation and motion graphics. The
animation he produced parodying "Yellow Submarine"
for Eric Idle's pseudo-documentary of a band called
the Rutles was shown at festivals around the world
and was then exhibited at the Museum of Modern Art
in New York City. His art has been exhibited in US
galleries, museums and universities. Inspired by this
story, he has also written an album of songs, sold
separately, to accompany the book.
